The first of the month always sees the largest number of titles being added and December on Netflix will be no different. December 1 kicks off with a new release which could become an awards contender later on. May December stars Oscar winners Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman in a tense drama about a controversial relationship. Portman plays an actor who is preparing for a role in an upcoming movie where she will play a real woman (Moore) who made headlines for her relationship with a younger man.
Netflix will also see a number of titles from the older DC movie universe which, with the release of Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, seems to be completely done. Among the titles that will be added are Man of Steel, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, both Wonder Woman movies, both Suicide Squad movies, and Shazam! While these titles don’t seem to have a place in the new DCU, fans may want to look back on this divisive era in comic book movies.
